Fleckney Neighbourhood Plan Review

Would you like to be involved in the review of the Fleckney Neighbourhood Plan and help shape the future of the village?

The Parish Council is undertaking a review of its adopted Neighbourhood Plan in the light of the published Harborough District Council Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment which identifies a number of sites in the village which have potential for development. The District is in the process of producing a new Local Plan and the early indications are that there will be a further requirement for new housing in the village up to 2036.

The review of the Fleckney Neighbourhood Plan, as well as re-evaluating the existing policies, will provide an opportunity for the local community to have a say, if there is a requirement for additional housing in the village, on the type of housing, its style and design and where they should be located.

The Neighbourhood Plan Working Party has commenced work but there is a need for more community representation. Why not get involved and help make a difference to the future of the village.

If you are interested in being involved or would like more information please email the Clerk at [email protected] with your details.
