At the Fleckney Parish Council meeting of 14th October 2024, it was RESOLVED to seek the approval of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government to apply for a PWLB loan of £2,000,000 over the borrowing term of 25-27 years for Fleckney Sports Centre. The annual loan repayments will come to around £150,000.
It is also intended to increase the council tax precept for the purpose of the loan repayments by 85% which is the equivalent of an additional £88 a year. This will be subject to a council tax precept increase consultation.
